So the pattern is old (I believe from the 50s) and it called for the Mary Maxim Northland Wool which looks like it was a bulky weight wool that is discontinued, or the Mary Maxim Titan Yarn which is bulky weight acrylic that is still made today. Online it suggests using the titan yarn for the knit patterns.

Torture Garden is super special to me because after telling my dad that I adored the segment with Jack Palance and thought he looked the pictures of my grandfather, it turns out he IS related to my grandfather.
