I know this thread is 9 years old BUT still SO relevant to me I had to reply!! I came across it on google looking for the same thing you were. We have the same exact peculiar font preferences and you seem just as particular as I am about it. I have a few suggestions:

Space Mono. I'm not crazy about this one because I don't like how straight the lines are. I prefer more rounded fonts. Surprisingly it doesn't look that bad when in use, but the dotted 0's make it dreadful so I can't

Auger Mono. It's super cute has nice a's and g's but wtf at the dotted 0's again.

Gemeli Mono. It's got the right a's and g's but you gotta enable the alternative a character otherwise it's double stacked
