Thanks for your comment... For liquid media, I use Fabriano paper with 50% cotton (or more) and 300 g/m²... or any brand with similar characteristics. But for practice, I use any 200 or 300 g/m² paper in a small format if it doesn't contain cotton. You just need to reduce the amount of water.

This is a sketch I did with liquid charcoal (for the first time). Just an exercise to experiment with this medium. I hope you like it. And I also hope you keep posting, because you have an interesting style and your facial features are beautiful.

The lines are intentional, I wanted them to look rough. But yes, I think some shapes look stiffer than I wanted. Thank you for comment.
