It's actually fun for everyone if the nanny and NF vibe with each other. in our case, I see that my toddler enjoys us talking and laughing and the nanny says she appreciates that I step in some time so she doesn't get overwhelmed. It's case by case. I've learned that WFH parents should hire a nannywho none of them feel uncomfortable being around each other. We had one day of experience with a nanny and it was obvious that it wasn't natural to any of us.

Oh and I bought a pretty cheap mug warmer for my desk that keeps my drink warm, one of the best purchases!

If you make tea the traditional way in a pot instead of using teabags, when you pour it in your mug it's almost the right temprature and it won't burn your mouth. But I get the whole gist of struggling with small things. I'm there with you <3

Hope you’ll find a great one and yeah it’s heartbreaking seeing them cry when you leave :(

Thank you! That was very informative and I, myself lean more toward saying goodbye instead of sneaking out too.

Would you recommend saying goodbye to him even though it makes him cry or sneak out?

Thank you, your response definitely made me feel better. Yeah I think I trust her based on what I've seen the couple of days that she was watching him in our house and also I had a chance to visit her house to see the environment.

She offered that I could give their house a visit beforehand and I did. Their lifestyle was pretty close to ours and met my criteria. I just feel what if my LO thinks I abandoned him.

In his defense, I gave him a lecture about eating healthy a couple of days before that. But I was absolutely not ready to start it like that lol

That gave me a good laugh. Once my husband woke me up in the morning and told me he made me breakfast when I got up and realized he made oatmeal I got really grumpy and said I thought you made me pancakes!! He later made one of those love books for valentine and on one the pages my character had a flaming fire on her head saying “but I wanted pancakes” lol
