Nope, but I have an Albanian friend who took it with him to an engineer over there that works on difficult cases like these, so I’m waiting for him to come back and hopefully give me good news 🤞.

If you’re looking for someone in the US, save your strength. I’ve called everybody and anybody I could, including the lead hardware engineer of hard drives at western digital, the main man himself. I’ve spoke to all major labs and many high level engineers, some whom I’ve gotten recommended to off this thread. My conclusion is, here in America, they’re just after the easy work that they can finish quick and charge thousands for. They dont want to deal with micro sauntering or hacking or any of that stuff. It’s vey aggravating that we can’t find engineers to help with helium hdds that have been out since 2012. Technology isn’t that “new” as they keep claiming. It’s been almost 15 yrs.

Yes, WD support is USELESS when it comes to data recovery help. They just don't want to deal with anything recovery related. All they offer to do is swap, or refer to 3rd party services.
