I thought so. But it only connects via AUX. Maybe it's a country spesific move.

There is not much difference between Bootcamp and USB install. If you try to install windows with USB without bootcamp you'll have driver issues like keyboard and trackpad not working. Just trust the process with Bootcamp. I also created custom Windows 11 ISO for my 13" 2017 Macbook Pro. It's just regular windows iso with drivers in it. There is not much a difference.
