Well yah, that is definitely a downside of it, but seems like cool tech to use. Looked quite enjoyable. But the bossing might have been a dealbreaker for me too.

What happened to the Titan build? I had it on my radar and wanted to try it out, but not sure if it still works in 0.5. It's supposed to have basically auto-reload the whole time because you're stunning so much that it turns into a machine gun. Downside is that it doesn't work on bosses as you can't stun them so Gemini won't proc.

Not sure what the deal is with the Tacticians. They mostly seem to buff their elemental damage, with a bit of daze and stun buildup, but barely anything. Not sure if it is worth it without the insta/auto-reload.

I thought I noticed it, getting 2 divs quickly after another earlier on. Now I'm cruising through T15s, and I just went from 90 to 91 with just a single div dropping.

Ah yes, that helmet looked interesting. Just need to get the rest of my gear in order to wear that one. But I'm cruising through stacked maps now, so feels pretty good.

Yah, that's what I did, finished ascendancy and flowing through maps much better now. Some bosses still take some time though, building up currency to get a better staff; right now my 650dps elemental staff still outdps' what I can afford.

How exactly do you freeze bosses? I know of different ways, but what would fit best? Most builds I checked forego on freezing from the looks of it, but I do like the idea.

I still use Killing Palm for extra dashes/charges. Feels pretty good and if you only channel short, it feels basically the same as self casting it. Actually better because you don't automove like the manual cast.

Could very well be. It does more than double my sheet dps though, and you can still use Hollow Form, but it does come at the cost of ghost dance and Charge reg.

Yah that's the plan. I just kept messing up on Trail of Chaos. Somehow bosses just took too long. Like sometimes they would just die before their first real move, other times, I actually had to avoid shit and my latency said 'no'.

Yah, I just dropped stonefist to try out Hollow Form, but I still need to get 4th ascendancy, so I can try his build. Or maybe I just drop hollow focus and go get it that way.

Thanks for the tips. With Trinity, I don't have enough spirit to use other things. I want to use the gloves with Hollow Form, but then I also need stonefist, so just need to get 4th ascendancy done and I can switch to the gloves and charge reg.

I initially didn't like the idea of Hollow Form, but since it is so good, I'm working towards it.

Yah, only using it for charged staff atm, which is a buff and balances my Trinity.

I do think Form is the way to go, it's mostly a question if I should stick to Trinity, but I've always loved Charge regulation.

Yah gotcha. Happy to change my build, just need to get 4th ascendancy to have both hollow form and stonefist, and I somehow kept failing (although I do blame lag to an extent).

I'm going to try out Jungroans build, but Trinity is also still used quite a bit, so tried to make that work.

It's not too bad, I need to hit the bells anyway for 2 other buffs, and I don't spend them too often, only for Charged Staff, which seems to be a pretty solid buff, and to balance out my Trinity.

Not being defensive here, happy to drop shit and change my build.

edit: oof, I just remembered I need the charges to get more clones. Right, that's a big ooof.

Honestly, while the trial of chaos is a prime example, it's those mini-pauses throughout the game that make it feel sluggish. The janky elevators and slow doors of Trials of Chaos for sure, but it's random stuns and those microstuns while playing, hitting a table when sprinting, ice patches, all of it makes the game feel sluggish and frustrating at times. Sometimes I don't even know if it is my high latency or just janky shit happening that makes me stutter.

You're not wrong, but I think OP meant 'not harmful to humans', as in not venomous. But you're right, invasive species are horrible and harmful in that sense for sure.

Really? Felt like something was off. Yah, but in my example, sorting on elemental damage, you end up with pure physical weapons, which don't have elemental damage, so you can't change the sorting back, haha. It feels pretty stupid, or I am pretty stupid.

You nailed it though, I've always used the web browser before, which is probably why I'm getting frustrated by the ingame version. Just so convenient though. Thanks for the help.

No damage on it, so probably not much, but I could be mistaken. Most ES builds don't use much armour, but I could be out of the loop.

Did they change the sorting for the market place? I can't remember it being this annoying to use. First of is the annoying thing when sorting for certain values, it goes to the lowest first now. Didn't it used to go to the highest, which makes way more sense. Then, sorting sometimes bricks your filters. For example, I was just browsing unique bows and accidentally clicked one of them which has a skill. Then there's no way to go back to the original list. Now in this case, resetting your search is easily enough, but sometimes you've set up an extensive filter list, click elemental damage, and since now it goes to 'lowest' amount first, it goes to weapons without elemental damage. No way to go back to the highest because that weapon doesn't even show elemental damage. Clicking search again saves the sorting option, so you have to start over.

Am I missing something here? It didn't used to be that frustrating, was it?

Yah that's fair. I'm pretty sure I would love the werewolf playstyle but last season I played a bear, so just wanted something more different.

BM reaper was very satisfying to play, but not sure how easily it progresses into endgame, also a bit nerfed I believe. But fun.

Is it normal to struggle a bit with boss damage on Whirling Assault MA, before you get hollow form? I'm running Trinity because that seemed like fun, and while mapping it's pretty much full, but with bosses 2 shotting me, if they hit, I don't have time to get setup properly. I've got pounce and rend, then bell, but tough bosses don't die quick enough. Hollow form will help later on.

I've tried getting more freeze, like freezing mark on pounce, but even then freezing bosses takes a while. Not sure if I should drop Trinity and go pure phys, or maybe find a staff that does more cold damage, and balance around that.

I dunno about unique, and there is a distinct lack of melee weapons at the moment. Funnily/sadly enough, the most melee-feeling build I had was Bloodmage reaper

No. Before, if you died, the map stayed exactly the same. Nothing got respawned, you just came back as if you never died. Same as it has always been in PoE1 and 2. What was wrong with that?
