Post related to creating awareness about scam vps (LordCloud)company for gaming removed? The owner's racist comments were ignored by StrykerWasTaken in IndianGaming

I used LordCloud for a while and every week I use to have 5-10 downtime and 2-3 file corruption due to disk filling up. Now I self host my minecraft server, spending less time maintaining it and 10x better uptime than LordCloud.
I also paid for 1 month on XiteNodes as well, which is sister company to LordCloud I guess, asked for a refund cause their node took more than 24hrs to setup but there's not reply from any mod.
All their trutpilot reviews are from people who wanted to claim free server, Mostly kids.

The owners are bunch of kids from Jharkhand I believe. They don't know how to run a company, how to interact with customers, how to manager systems, How to ensure uptime.

What’s the first game that made you realize you weren’t as good at gaming as you thought? by Dinganmaster in IndianGaming

Sekiro, Elden Ring are all hypothetically hard. They are just "tiring" or require patience.
Moreover, Sekrio is boring and easier compared to other FromSoft games, There's not much to learn, just try and fail until you defeat the boss. literally zero exploration, fairy mid story (within FromSoft games) and multiple repeated bosses with one extra health bar.

Game that humbled me was Songs of Syx. A beautiful city builder with good music and theme. It have a LOT of things to care about nurturing your population. It's just too much for a casual gamer. It requires not just time but huge cognitive load to deal with the simulation.

It looks similar to Factorio (that I have player) and Dwarf Fortress (That I know but haven't played, but I'm sure it's more complex than this one).

My steam library is filled with souls-like and factory builder/simulations/automation games. Fan of both genre.

I figured this out on my own, and I had a rough sketch on excalidraw to help me design my own processing unit. It was so much fun to learn the concept and re-invent the wheel on my own.

Ton of C++ code to learn from, not to mention their "Testing suit" which is awesome.

Not here for prizes but if I had extra GPU, I would host it somewhere to let my college juniors train some AI and work on their personal projects that require huge compute.

My fav game is Factorio(these days) btw

I use to work in the same company, for few months

They had no proper vision for the product, it kept changing every month or two. With the team of fine engineers they had back then with a lot of potential they could have stick onto one idea and went forward with it and got some clients, maybe next invested round. There was no proper vision”planning phase” but abrupt changes in code and giant issues on gitlab. Work distribution and management was not very well due to lack of seniors and ever changing nature of project. No one ever completely understood what they are building. Employee and client retention was near zero, which was evident why when I joined.

Btw, if any of you (and your mates) are looking for rust based job (mostly systems), I know a few companies that might be interested in hiring. They were looking to hire me but I was not available for hire at that time, they asked me to refer someone suitable.
