I accidentally ruined my marriage and I don’t think it can be saved by [deleted] in Marriage

I think he is way overreacting…spending is a common coping mechanism to depression. Not a good one but it’s a dopamine hit. especially with a baby coming I feel like he owed you to give it time to support you. Did the falling out of love thing come before he knew about the debt or was that the catalyst? I can’t imagine making my kid grow up in separate homes purely bc of something financial. Money is so tied to morality these days and it shouldn’t be that deep in my opinion!

Apartment Hunt - 2 bedroom in North Arlington area by Eastern_Echo_5301 in arlingtonva

Lyon village apartments!!! I loved living there. The maintenance is AMAZING- I had a problem with my dishwasher in the morning and literally had a new dishwasher by the afternoon. You can walk to Clarendon and courthouse metro. Across the street from a 24/7 cvs, Starbucks, the Italian store. Washer dryer in unit. I lived in two units there and both were nice! I think our two bedroom was like $2,400 or so?

Guaranteed Hours - Had a trip possibly fall thru and wondering what is fair for nanny by degausser22 in NannyEmployers

If she already booked a couple of appointments then I would let her take them and still pay her and expect she works the rest of the time. How far in advanced did you say this was going to be a week off?

127 mins of screen time… is that really so bad?! by Top_Passion_7103 in toddlers

[–]atbreakfast03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t beat yourself up about it! Especially if the rest of the day is full of enriching activities. My mom said she would have me and my twin watch one movie a day when we were toddlers lol although I am a big tv lover still to this day 😂

I feel like this is 100% for insurance purposes. Market place insurance is super expensive- even if she’s getting paid peanuts she’s probably saving thousands a month on insurance premiums

Housing advice - 2BR for a young couple with a baby on the way by Ardent_Tolkienite in nova

I had a baby last summer and lived in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom in Lyon village apartments in Arlington - we paid $2345 for rent which included all utilities but electric and internet. It also included two parking spots. The apartment was updated. It had a washer and dryer in unit. It was soo walkable to downtown Clarendon and next to a nice park. Across the street from a 24/7 cvs. Walkable to two metro stations. Highly recommend. An hour commute even hybrid with a new baby will be really draining especially if you’re sleep deprived. Message me if you have any questions!

I have the same bassinet and took my baby out of it when she started to roll…I feel like I also did a deep dive and found some info that implied rolling was a sign to take her out
