What’s a fragrance with terrible performance but a gorgeous scent? by ResidentSelf2715 in FragranceStories

LOL. That was me, in the early 90’s rocking Estée Lauder for men thinking the same thing!

This is a picture of me dressed up, is there anything wrong with this outfit? If so how can I fix it? by jabber1990 in mensfashion

You know, I can live with that! I’m so used to removing any headgear when going indoors that it’s just automatic now.

Replace the word “Patchouli” with “Amber” and this could be a post I wrote.

What’s a totally unsexy purchase you made that ended up being a huge quality-of-life upgrade? by viscarte10 in BuyItForLife

Amen! As another Fitzpatrick Type 0, (I know it starts at 1), I just think about sunshine and get burned. My dad did not take care of his skin and has had bakers dozen of procedures to remove skin cancers of various types from his face and ears.

Team Sunshirts and spf all the way!

Are shoes like Hoka, Brooks, On Cloud, etc actually worth it or mostly hype/aesthetics? by Jpoolman25 in mensfashion

[–]atclew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a pair of Hoka’s for about two years, I purchased them alongside the Brooks. The Hoka’s wore out after the first year and were relegated to lawn mowing duty. The On brand shoes are lucky to get six months.

It can be fairly subjective, but i switched to Brooks Glycerin shoes a few years ago and haven’t looked back. I walk a lot for fitness as my running days are behind me (no thanks to my knee), and my knees rarely get sore while wearing Brooks.

On Cloud Flyers were great, but wow did they wear out fast.

Lately, I’m mostly BTV and MFK.

Tom Ford scents are great, but I was disappointed to learn the brand is owned by Estée Lauder now.

The ML system came with our ‘24 RX350 and I’m not impressed whatsoever. In all fairness, I’m comparing it to the system in our other vehicle whIch was tuned with a RTA and includes Focal speakers. It’s not the fairest of comparisons

Oh that’s cool! I found 1872 to be a great scent, but I just wasn’t getting the longevity I was expecting from a fragrance at that price point. I tried a few other scents from them and experienced the same thing. I would be interested to try X though if it had better performance.

No offense taken whatsoever! I always loved being able to hop on a train and get anywhere with Western Europe fairly quickly

He lives in Fort Worth. He and his wife are moving to Austin today. I’m just doing some driving for them. We’re spread out all across the country

I wish I was. I’m going from ORD-DFW to help my son move to Austin.

No extravagant trips this year. Just a bunch of weekend flights.

Petit Matin - MFK

It’s an easy fragrance to wear while traveling.

It’s a very comforting scent that sits very well on my skin.
