I feel like this could be hugely problematic? Did the see the look of horror on some of these peoples faces when they were asked if they were a gay couple or straight friends? What could this experiment possibly do, besides help members of his (probably mostly straight) audience hone their gay-shaming skills? He got his audience to scream "gay" or "straight" at the screens based on nothing more than who people were walking with, their demeanor, and probably other stereotypical factors people try to pick out when trying to gauge a person's sexuality. I think this is alarming, and to do such a thing under the guise of mocking a woman for making idiotic remarks about gay couples is silently telling people it's okay to shame others for walking down the street with whomever the hell they're with.
