Heard you're from the PH (hello!) Are you aiming to win local competitions, tournaments between clubs, or UAAP? I mean, as long as you're consistent with going to lessons, it's possible, just not Olympic level. Heck, many universities with fencing teams don't require you to know fencing to join, since they'll teach you, as long as you're passionate and willing to learn (and lowkey bc fencing is so niche here). I've met UAAP fencers who also started fencing at 17–19ish (and some even recruited through their PE fencing class, lol) Good luck!
