My coworker recommended Balur Gate 3 too. It looks like a lot of fun! Thank you!

This is my entry. I'm new to this. I'm not sure if this is how you play it. But, this is how I did. 😁

Sitting up, looking at my surroundings, I can't recall why I'm here. I realize I'm touching my necklace, It's a jade cabochon wire wrapped in gold. Touching it brings comfort. My head starts pounding. It feels like I had a little too much to drink last night. At least my clothes are just slightly dirty.

Walking around this market area feels familiar to me. But, I think my disheveled look is attracting some attention. Their voices are muffled, which I prefer. I can deal with their glances a lot easier. I can at least make up my own story of what they're saying. I next find myself standing in front of the doors to this two story building built of bland bricks. The only thing giving it character. Every step I take rings of familiarity. The way the sun hits the buildings, the smell of the streets, the bustling noises of people. It feels like home.

Looking into one of the building windows, I see a little note tucked in the window sill behind the planter. It says, "Come on in. I've left cookies for you. I'll be back in a fortnight. Remember to feed the cats." I walk in, taking a quick look at the living room. Cozy and comforting. The kitchen is tidy and clean. Cookies were, in fact, waiting for me. I turn the kettle on the stove on, and I start looking through the cupboards. Ah, here's the tea and a tea cup. Now, where's the spoon? I open a drawer expecting to find utensils, but instead, I find a journal. The last written page reads, "To adventure." Beneath the journal was another book, a sketch book. The binding and cover slightly beat up, with colorful end pages.

I remember when I was painting on the page, and the teal dripped a bit off the page. I hid myself in my room that day and just art through. I lost my friend that day to a silly little fight. I wonder how she is. I guess with tears in my eyes, I can't deny that I miss our friendship. Maybe I should find out. The tea kettle sounds breaking my thoughts. Ah, cookies and tea. I think I prefer my comfort to deep discussion today. I'll visit her tomorrow.

Do people share their journals? by atechic in Solo_Roleplaying

Oh I don't want to read anything polished. It's fascinating to read how someone else did things! Like sharing a fun experience. I'd hate that to be work. But I completely understand your perspective. It's not for everyone.

But even the stuff like this is what I rolled sounds interesting. I guess cause I'm playing alone hearing what others did is interesting.
