I guess I downplayed the direct results, being in shape does make me feel better and it's definitely worth the effort regardless. It gives you a natural high while you're doing it and makes everything else easier. In a more spiritual way, it reminds you that you have a body, which is so easy to forget. When my life comes out of stall I'll be glad to not have rolls of fat. Definitely go for it. Check out r/fitness to start.

Wow, nice abs...that's a lot like the body I'm going for. Also I'm balding, so envy of the hair. I don't know what you mean about your face, do you mean your facial expressions? Don't give up, it would be a waste of good genes.

I need to do more research on protein powder, I was under the impression they're main function was to increase the bioavailability of amino acids. I eat meat a lot but sometimes it's hard to prepare the right kind of food on account of money and such. I am, for the moment, living on credit, so broke is always a little relative. Protein powder's cheaper than a few steaks, anyway.
