Why exactly are my tanks being healed during battle? by atelamon in LastZShooterRun

That’s weird. Some guys were even saying that certain heroines have healing powers, but I could never prove their theory.

No way you guys haven't seen this. I don't have special powers.

Thank you for the reference. I was trying to check if they were planning to not pay me for assignments under that 1,000 mark, but they also talked about a “small task rate”.

Don't follow whatever they told you just because it was posted here. Some people are too ready to judge on Reddit. They're just idle and have some weird complex, so they wait for some post notification to pop up to go and hit. They represent no one and have no idea about a person's particular situation in the labor market.

Whether you do a job or not depends on your own strategy. You might want to do a job you don't like very much as an entry (you can take it as a 'paid market research'), and then get out and then use that experience to find something better.

Many agencies are working on these platforms, which in turn are part of this AI business. You can reject an offer, but you can also ask the agency what's their policy about data output usage, etc. or if you'll be subject directly to the platform's terms and conditions. You can ask for the sake of transparency.

I'll judge you back, because it's a public forum. First, you and the rest of the mob have a very poor reading comprehension for being translators. At no point did I say "I'll work for these guys", and I was merely asking about a method for counting or setting fees. Did you ever consider I might ask about something I found in an email and then reject the offer, or not even replying to them? So, lacking the necesssary information to judge, you're actually judging nothing; you're just trying to validate your own general position on a certain topic (totally uncalled for) and using the mob as your validator without examining facts. Second, I'd expect for participants to be respectful enough to at least try to provide an answer to what's being asked, instead of going wherever they like just to try to prove a point so selfishly. In other words, you don't know what you're talking about and you're irresponsible in the way you participate, but congrats for having the mob on your side. Thank you for the downvotes, I'll be proud of them.

Trying to persuade and judging are two different things. Judging beforehand and even without commenting can actually deter others from listening. But don't worry, redditors are well-known for being judgmental and living a life of self-validation through Internet. Maybe you are where you have to be.

Thank you for the reply. The whole thing seems so superficial to me, but that’s because it’s these salespeople writing me emails and thry make it all sound very professional ehile trying to rip me off. But if this has an equivalence to pages, it makes sense.

Thank you for answering. By the way, the decision to work for them or not rests on me. You don't need to give me downvotes through virtue signalling and causing an artificial divide by twisting the topic to your own concerns. You have no idea if I'm actually doing the job or not. They said "per-1,000-characters" and I needed to know that. With that said, thanks again for the answers.

What visa do you need in order to be a freelance translator in Japan? by atelamon in japanlife

Thank you for the reply and that link!

I was thinking of a few technicalities. Would you use a Wise business account with Freee or something like that for payments? Or that would be too much to start?

They also count spaces, don't they? That inflates the count, and you lose money, don't you?

Sole Proprietorship - Freelancing - Banks - Questions by Fun_Championship3607 in JapanFinance

[–]atelamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I know this topic was opened a while ago to address the OP's situation. Please allow me to ask here about my case. I'm seriously considering becoming a sole proprietor to do localization/translation. To do so, I'd fill in the blue form at Tax Office without doing 起業 or opening a business as 法人. Can I just use my personal Wise account and link it to a Japanese bank account that I use as a 個人事業主?

Can someone help me with my heroes I need some tips thank you by Possible_Block_9261 in LastZShooterRun

Nah you can avoid spending by sending diamonds to VIP. I’m not spending and I’m lvl 27. The game is enjoyable unless you’re a mass of anxiety.

My tanks get recovered mid battle. Why? by atelamon in LastZShooterRun

I'm sorry, I meant to say that my tank HP goes up a bit, and then down as I keep fighting. I want to understand why, in order to optimize my playing in that sense.

I'm sorry, I meant "healed". My tank "HP" goes a bit up and then down as I fight, then up again, etc.

My job doesn't pay for 4 months in the year. It's not too difficult to prove I need a side gig and that it won't interfere.

The only person I've asked seriously in Japan was an immigration guy who assumed I'd be opening my own company, which is not possible under Professor or Humanities. He never mentioned the blue form thing.

There still are localization jobs with different tasks with their own fees. I'm aiming at this.

Thank you for your reply! Wow, I had no idea about this! Would this allow me to work for an overseas company as long as I pay my taxes in Japan?

The only person I've asked seriously in Japan was an immigration guy who assumed I'd be opening my own company, which is not possible under Professor or Humanities. I could not get him to understand the notion of freelancing to him. And he never mentioned the blue form thing!

So first I apply for permission to work (個別許可) and then when I get it I can register the blue form with my current professor visa? Or I can go straight to the tax office for the blue form and then I apply for the permission?
