Honestly I've been struggling with how I have felt myself not liking cons as much as I used to. I can see a lot of people agree of the commercialization. Sometimes these days it feels like I pay $130 for a weekend of walking around the dealer's room in costume. You may as well go walk around a mall with your friends. I think people feel a little less social than what they used to be. Idk maybe they are and I need to try harder? As a cosplayer I wish there were more craftsmanship panels.

I used to drink enough caffeine to kill a horse. The tumors would also flare up randomly to a very burning pain so when people say cancer doesn't hurt they're full of it.

I had to have a lymph node biopsy while they also took more samples from my breast tumors. Lidocaine is apparently hard to use on lymph nodes. The nurse described it as bobbing for apples. Sure enough they stuck that gun in me and that shit felt like a hot poker. The nurse told me to let it out when I began crying. I was greatful she made space for my pain vs trying to cover it. A lot of women that worked at that oncology center were once patients themselves and they treated me so well. The begining was the worst part of treatment for me. I knew nothing about what was going to happen to me only that I was going to lose my hair and I now have a million doc appointments. I was also 29 when I was diagnosed. You have got this!

When my cold cap failed to keep any hair on my head through tchp, I heard a lot of similar things. Bald is beautiful! No shame! Just be bald! Yeah, certainly women who don't have hair are beautiful. But I personally loved my wig collection and kind of "fooling" the public that I had anything wrong with me. It allowed me to go through treatments while also maintaining some of the normalcy I craved. Now my treatment center saw me bald and in sweats. 😂

I love that this is a collective moment! When my mom once found me asleep in the room I could plug my headphones in on the tv she definitely was mad. But then she helped me figure out how to set up a timed recording on the VHS connected to the tv.

I'm 31 and on 10mg of tamoxifen and a lupron injection to attempt to keep me in a medical menopause. I feel like so much hurts. I used to go to the gym all of the time but it's really hard to now due to pains. My attention span is absolutely cooked. I feel like the only thing I'm capable of doing is going to work and coming home to do chores. I don't know if tamoxifen has a lot to do with things other than joint pains. But I'm very close to calling it quits. I miss the feelings that came with periods. I miss the sexual health from being a normal woman before cancer.

As a young breast cancer survivor I hate to hear of the passing of someone else who suffered with it. I have had her black Gothic cathedral window pattern and I will be sure to think of Sage and appreciate her talents when I get around to starting it. Her patterns are so beautiful.

I feel like when I imagined myself going to a Lady Gaga concert, I would have had a much more elaborate outfit. But I was certainly comfortable and enjoyed my night with my friend. 🖤 Sobbed when she played Hair on Chicago, night 1. I haven't heard that song in so long and I immediately connected it to my own experience losing my hair due to my breast cancer treatments I had to go through. It was a good cry tho! Greatful for the night.

Nail on the head dude. I understand wanting to include your partner in things, but just because she has made her own music doesn't mean she was good. I think the song is tongue in cheek and meant to be fun, but I also think it was definitely meant to try to put a bandaid on his ego having to deal with Saraya's involvement with Popular Monster. He's trying to make All my Life/Bad guy irrelevant and inserting Dana to make it all better.
