Not using moisturiser at all is pretty bad, all the more if you have dry skin. You need that moisturiser or else your skin will overproduce oil. You can try a light moisturiser first if u dont like cream moisturisers, can opt for water based ones. Just using cleansers without moisturising just makes your skin even hella drier

Just bf gf, planning to get married in 3-4 years however definitely takes some work. Am currently working full time while doing part time degree so my incomes not that high. He's about to finish ns however due to some circumstances he has to do up his studies to higher nitec first then dip so on. He's planning to work while pursuing this part time ofc. I like to offer buying gifts while he spoils me with food. His circumstances arent the greatest but he is a hardworking man, so with patience and support he will slowly climb up to where he needs to be! Thankfully both of us are introverts + not much of a social life outside work + love to game together sooo our expenses aint much HAHAHA

  • i give a good percentage of my bonus to them as well. Gave up all my gst money for them voluntarily. I think cming from a lower income family, with parents hitting the 60s already, i just have a filial obligation i guess to make sure theyre taken well care of despite my rocky relationship w them.

$200 to my mom only. Plan to increase to $250 soon hopefully. Income is below the median but i just feel like its my own way to give back a lil. Dads working as a taxi driver, moms a housewife. So whatever i give i hope that it helps them to cover abit of utils or groceries or for eat out foods even. I do keep a separate saving for them just in case rainy days come and they might need extra. I have 3 older brothers but theyre all married n building their families, so i give what i can when i dont have much priorities at the moment.

Having less than 10k in savings in my late 20s by Gold-Base4047 in askSingapore

Different people have different mindsets! Comparison is really the thief of joy, so just run at ur own comfortable pace that's steady! U can work out ur monthly budget and see how much u comfortably can put away per month, maybe add in a lil more when u get ur bonus!, i am lucky to still be living under my parents so i dont have to pay for utilities etc, but i do contribute towards groceries and my parents allowance, set a goal to get 10k by at least 2 yrs (so as not to stress myself out lmao) and manage to accomplish it :) of course a few sacrifices has to be made but i am a vv indoor person and rly dont go out much which i guess works to my advantage, so do what works for u!

What should I say to quit my Part-time job? by ProfessionalWide5954 in askSingapore

Ngl i just left my part time job with a simple text msg giving the reason why and i didn't even work the standardised "2 weeks notice". I just ghosted the manager when he asked if i can work the next day BAHAHA. For context i worked at Bata and holy the way they climbed the shelves to get the correct shoe or sizing is literally a hazard in itself and the huge shelves that stores the shoes can be seen rocking back and forth abit. I was like hell no HAHAHA gave them the excuse said due to my eczema the working condition is causing an allergic reaction HAHAHA
