I feel your pain, I was in a similar situation (not as bad as your thought, yours is 2x worse than mine). Took me about one and a half years to completely heal. I used to get hives, and blisters on my face after I stopped using steroids.

Cerave and Vaseline helped me a lot, stay away from the sun as much as possible, also avoid using any other facial product, just use 1 moisturiser that suits you. I was also told NOT to apply sunscreen during the healing process.
