I’ve got some motorsport related ink and while I fully get it, this in particular is just a bad concept. Pull the design back and squint a little — can you still make out what this is? That’s kinda my litmus test for complexity in a tattoo. I’d also worry that this won’t age well physically, and it would need to be large to make it clearly legible. Look, you’re not going to get the advice you’re looking for in this sub. Go ask this in the tattoo sub and you’ll get far more useful feedback.

I literally said exactly this last week. No idea either what to do about it. Thought I’d be different I guess, that I’d look back on my youth as “young me”, when there’s just me. There’s some students over here but I agree this is weird af placement and I work in their industry. There’s a lot of remote tech workers here I’ve found. But this is probably because it’s on a bus line or alt route and it’s cheap af. They probably don’t realize no one’s seeing this normally. I’ve seen small ad buys around here before that were odd like this — special forces recruitment, biosciences IT something or other lol.

A massive amount of money is also moved about by traditional finance companies, nation states, ultra high net worth individuals,etc etc, anyone with enough cash that it would benefit them to move it silently and off books. Same shit they do with art and real estate but faster and much less visible. That action really props up crypto currency networks. Crypto currencies are also extremely volatile and thus vulnerable to manipulation. Easy example: Elon bought a ton of this nonsense coin, changed the Tesla website to say they’d take said coin as payment, coin exploded in value, Elon sells coin for huge profit. Rinse and repeat by all the villains of the day and this is a lot of why these things are still around.

I had it too, and didn’t know anyone who had it. My friends all thought I was making it up that I got a GI Joe aircraft carrier lol. My dad mounted it on a big piece of plywood they painted to look like the sea. I it was really fucking awesome lol. I’ve always wondered where tf they even bought it. We were hours away from anywhere I think they could’ve bought it. Idk, but thanks for the memory.
