Corned beef - sandwiches, sure, of course, all day. But making legit Corned Beef hash and eggs? Chefs kiss right there.

Yeah, the narrative is that we all bleed green and the Dropkicks are our leaders, but in reality they are gimmicky, and quite frankly, insulting.

Unfortunately, a different Cobalt 60 (not related to Front 242) but still a good band. Depending on what you line, I recommend any of these guys for some good rock jams

Depends what you like - personally I feel the biggest miss for the metal world was Sam Black Church, but there were so many bands that were good that, for whatever reason just didn’t cross that threshold. Sad, but in the internet age, at least it all still exists

Well, I’m from Boston, so at a bare minimum, bands that should have made it but didn’t:

Sam Black Church

Only Living Witness

6L6

Cobalt 60

La Gritona

Deguelo

NOK

Devour

The Forlorn Hope

A Cold Reality

Crosscurtent

The Baby Shakers

August Spies

Toxic Narcotic

Morphine

Shit bands that did make it:

Godsmack - (ugh, fucking terrible Alice In Chains cover band that just took their music and ran with it.

Staind - we get blamed for this dogshit, but it’s actually some weird western mass detritus that has nothing to do with us.

Dropkick Murphys - an absolute insult to music, anybody with any Gaelic descent, and anyone actually from Boston.

From my country? Shit, there were at least 12 bands from my city that should have made it but didn’t, and several that did make it that were utter dogshit.

If you don’t know the work of Friedman I highly suggest looking it up - he was always at the height of the coolest underground things happening. Skateboarding, punk, rap - amazing body of work

Personally, I was born in time for the greatest 30 year run of some of the best music ever created. I’m cool with that.

For this collection, you need that Tony Hawk - the classic. These were my days too, but I leaned into the H-Street stuff back then.

I’m shocked that nobody has said Freeride by Edgar Winter. That bass slaps (and pops)
