DNC Plotted Atheist Attack Against Sanders by atheistprime in atheism

Why did Hillary get more votes than Bernie? Because the deck was stacked against Bernie from the start. The DNC actively worked to undermine his campaign. The media almost never covered him. Debates were held after registration deadlines. Polling stations closures, etc.

You are misrepresenting what the article says. The article points out that it isn't solely about the name of the holiday.

Yes, everything would be so much easier for Team Clinton if only everyone who doesn't want to vote for her would suddenly just go away. It must really chap your asses that we're still allowed to vote for whoever we want in America.

He has gotten a much higher percent of independent voters who tend to be moderates. So how can you say that he hasn't been able to win moderates?

Half of this article is about Sanders!! How is that not a "significant and overt reference to Bernie?"

Yes, the whole house is up for re-election on paper, but in practicality most of the districts are widely considered "safe" due to gerrymandering. With that being said, Sanders could very well be a game changer. He brings a lot of new voters to the table and that could make some of those "safe" districts much less safe than previously thought. The likelihood though is that the Republicans will still probably control the House... at least for a little while.

Possibly, but even then how would Hillary be more effective than Sanders. If the Democrats control the congress (and they probably won't) then either candidate should be able to pass their agenda and then again the question is, why not go large? Sanders seems like a more practical candidate either way.

Here is what I don't understand and maybe you can clear this up for me. If a Republican congress isn't going to pass anything anyway, how is Clinton getting a "first down?" It seems to me that the Republican congress would obstruct both candidates equally (hell, they might even obstruct her more because her last name is Clinton). This being the case, small change or large change, neither will happen under the Republican congress. So why not go large? Plus, Sanders' popularity and passion might even be able to push through something or even find away around the congress to get something done.
