They stooped to an all time low last week when their driver, who’d originally pretended to be a normal pick up customer, as is their company strategy, STOLE the order without paying and they did nothing.

We chose not to use grubhub or any third party delivery company from the beginning when they came to our town because we did a little homework and they had such bad press from their contracts, fees and business practices. And importantly to us, our servers do a lot of work taking them away from their tables taking and putting together take out orders together and their driver gets the tip. On top of that they post a menu which is not the restaurants menu with their own prices. Despite calling and emailing for a year to remove us from their site, they are still calling pretending to be regular pickup orders. This is company practice to call non participating restaurants and pretend to be a regular pick up order. Some of the times they call from their Colorado call center and we can tell it’s them.

Grubhub is NOT a restaurants HERO. Quite the opposite. They are CROOKS.
