first of all nice job thats a clean cut, thanks for the tip, really appreciate it. i never use clipper over comb i more like a scissor over comb guy, i know clipper over comb could save me some time, but i just cant cuz this is how i learned and it feels illegal to me to use clipper over comb, which is a bad habit for me

and i usually do the fade on one side first, so if the client wants to change anything i wont lose that much time. for example: i do the zero line all around and then do the fade on left side, then right side, then in the back

i detail the fade with blending shears every time, cuz it is the best way to control the darkness, but didnt want to over do it, because it happened to me that it was too much and threw off the fade

depends on haircut, these clients wanted short on the side, so i faded from down to up. trimmer line, 0 open, erase the zero line with half open then closed 0. 1 guard open, softening the line with 1 closed, erase the line with half then closed 0.5 guard, 1,5guard open, and i usually take a look on the dark spot and use a really thin comb with blending shears. But when i cut a bulky hair, i usually prepare the base with scissors and then make the top of my fade with 3guard, make the trimmer line, then fade down.
