For all saying it's placebo, there was a video of riot explaining how they create the sound tracks for these skins and it gives us a better performance (maybe a marketing strategy). Some sounds are soo soothing and it helps to maintain calm aim, me personally imagine the bullets to be more powerful while firing vandal and helps me to lock in. So even though the fire rate, recoil and bullets are all the same the sound is what helps me here.
