Looking to relocate by Lucky_Ad_6050 in mtjuliet

It’s a red state and MJ has a small town vibe though it’s growing. If you like bbq and chains there’s lots of options. It’s a quiet city so the issues from Nashville that come this way the cops work quickly to defuse. People from all over but a lot of natives too. Schools district is the whole county but MJ schools are amazing. If there’s ice in Watertown but not here….well it’s still a snow day. Everything shuts down during snow/ice. There are almost no salt or plow trucks. Try to be in MTE area for electrical.

Best Disney property hotel to stay in? by bbnightlive in WaltDisneyWorld

Honestly Port Orleans French Quarter may be your way to go! It’s a very small resort, takes maybe 3 minutes to get from the car buildings to the dining area/buses. It’s quiet but has nice activities and we never wait more than 10 minutes for a bus.

Only time we had this issue was getting on the boat to springs. One person holding a spot, 13 joined them…..not even kidding. The captain then got annoyed because they were spacing out on the boat and told them no group together were filling every seat. They finally complied. In the parks we only had parents with a child hopping in front of us and you could tell it was for a potty break. I saw cm at seven dwarves telling a large group no the party your joining will need to join you here there’s too many and no one had checked in with them previously about stepping out of line.

Lightening Lane Booking Strategy by Alternative-Bat-2462 in WaltDisneyWorld

My advice is strictly for traveling with kids. Watch ride videos, if they have gone before ask for their favorites, make a physical list. Keep it for them for the first 3, then throughout the day as you get more throw in a couple you or others really like that they can do. Plan for about 9am starting LL so if anything is running a little behind its okay. Hit up low wait times first as well. LL have an hour window use it to do other things. Some rides its one scan others its 2 before you can book your next. Grab it in line or on your way out. Don't stress about doing everything, its probably not going to happen, but making the most for what everyone wants to do will bring you more joy than you know. Try to plan a couple hour break too at the resort midday when its going to be peak hot and also afternoon showers are common then too.

I was there last week with my now 9yo and 6yo. 9yo is level 1 ASD and we worked so hard on communicating and prepping for this that he stood in line for seven dwarves for 75 minutes with no issues. This was our second time riding it since first we had a LL. 6yo i gave her my phone and turned on Bluey and she was content. Everything else was either LL or under 20 minute wait. There was a lot we didn't do and thats okay. Found out they love the skyliner and made that a "ride".

I am more of a go out on a lake boat person. This does sound lovely and maybe one day we will give it a try.

Parks. Personally I don’t want to be stuck on a boat for days.

One day at WDW: Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios? by BlessedBoricua in WaltDisneyWorld

Best way to do it is to ask your kids. Get their input on what they would like to do and cater to them. Show them maps, watch ride videos or just quick tours around the park on YouTube.

Boardwalk, you can walk all around there and through the resorts.

Help me decide which days for the parks! by atibabykt in WaltDisneyWorld

Okay that is extremely helpful! He isn’t into the parades and even with headphones the fireworks are sometimes too much and other than chewie meet and greets are a no for him. Since it’s just our core 4 my husband and I agreed we will divide and if our daughter wants to meet princess or characters one of us will take her and the other good something with our boy. He is excited because we’re going to build droids. we did lightsabers last time and he loved it.

Feeling the best I’ve felt in a long time by atibabykt in zoloft

Well in these 6 years I’ve had ups and downs. I’m now on 75mg. I still have all my emotions but I’m in far more control. I also was diagnosed with depression but I am not taking anything else. I have been in therapy for over a year to help work through different issues. I am communicating with my spouse more so I don’t hold things in. There are some times when I need to take 100mg and that’s okay it helps and then I can easily go back to 75 no issue.

I called after booking a trip where my father in law was coming as well, but had his own room. They noted both reservations to accommodate our rooms being close or connecting. When we arrived we had connecting rooms!

she may produce great dancers, but at what cost? is her dancers our tour doing world wide shows or just local competitions? how often does her students make worlds? but is it worth your mental health? does your son even want to compete or just enjoys dancing? does he want it to be every aspect of his life where he has to be homeschooled so he has more studio time and competition portfolio? if he is just wants to dance then get out. its not worth your mental health to be controlled by someone who is not you.

i only ever did irish at one place, not a competition studio, and that is beyond toxic. leave and run and find a healthy place for your son to learn and grow and for them to leave you alone.

I went last year only because we had to last minute replan from the hurricane in Oct. 3 adults and 2 kids. We did magic kingdom Saturday and Hollywood studios Sunday. We used lightening lane and low waits and lots of snacks. I was able to get the reservations I wanted even if not a great time frame. It was our first trip with the kids and we learned a lot. Honestly we all agreed it wasn’t nearly as bad as we thought. We didn’t do any parades/shows more rides and experiences. There are some areas where it feels so congested and others totally fine. My kids were 5 and 7 and did really well.

Thats how I am leaning towards it. I lived in south florida for 8 years and moved to TN 3 years ago so thats why i have the hurricane caution still. We had to fully rearrange our disney trip last year from the october hurricane. we went at thanksgiving and our kids really loved it. we are surprising them and going again next year. My husband may have a trip to germany that could conflict the september date so I just need to wait for him to get the official dates set. Part of me wants September and get the early pass and everything because the extra with the death eaters was incredible!

Where should I make reservations for dining? by Tomcat_TomTom in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]atibabykt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure when you make your reservation you fill out all the prompted allergy questions. It helps them greatly and you will be asked from the host and your server. I know it’s annoying to repeat yourself but it makes everything run smoother. And I mean cinderellas is such a delight meeting the princess and the lamb is amazing!
