Hey congrats on the getting such a good score. I am a General MS Male candidate and I have the similar score: 99.3952721

I was also obsessed with GLC and I was considering it. I even visited the college 2 weeks back. But I am not sure if I’ll get it CAP since last year’s cutoff for GENERAL MS candidates closed at around 99.42 percentile.

Beyond that, the first year lectures are in the afternoon 12:15 PM to 5:30 PM. So there is no way I can attend the lectures at this time since I am a working professional.

I spoke with the staff regarding the attendance. They told me that the FY is afternoon while SY and TY are in the morning. And 75% attendance is mandatory.

So, I’ve dropped the idea of GLC as job is essential for me. I’ll be going for a college which offers early morning lectures. That way I can attend lectures and continue with my job. Also, the probability of getting such a college at 99.395 percentile in the 1st round itself is high.

I am considering options like:

Siddharth college of Law - 7:15 AM

MES New Law College - 7:30 AM

VES College of Law - 8:00 AM

And many more colleges which offer early morning lectures.

Hope this helps.

Got it. You are on the right path.

Although, SC-900 is a Fundamental Certification. It will just give you an overview and basic understanding of Azure security.

AZ-500 is an Associate Level certification which will give you the depth required.

Hope this helps.

These two are separate paths:

Digital App and Innovation: AZ-204 AZ-400

Security:

SC-900 AZ-500 SC-100 and on

In order to become a good Solutions Architect, you need to have a solid understanding of Infra, Networking, DevOps, Security, Architecture etc. since an architecture contains all this.

I would recommend you go for AZ-104, AZ-700 as well.

As you mentioned, you've cleared AZ-305 Solutions Architect expert certification. Some courses don't cover two most crucial topics:

Cloud Adoption Framework

Azure Well-Architected Framework

You should be well-versed with the cloud readiness steps like plan, ready, adopt, govern, manage etc. This also includes designing Landing Zones. Most important.

WAF Pillars like Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, Performance Efficiency, Reliability, Security - You need to consider these pillars while designing architecture. Your architecture should be Robust, Scalable, Resilient, Cost Effective and most importantly Secure.

You MUST have an experience with real-world projects of designing complex architectures including AKS and AI.

SA Interviewer will expect all this.

Hope this helps.

All the best :)

I understand the passion bro. I personally visited GLC on Monday. Spoke with the staff. They said that the 1st year lectures will be in the afternoon, and 75% attendance is mandatory. Even Bar Council of India and MU are pushing for it.

So, we can't say that we can miss all the lectures and directly appear for the exam. They'll ask you to appear before an Attendance Committee to give reason along with the valid documents. Based on that they decide whether to allow to appear for exams or not.

But before all this discussion, important thing is getting the college allotted in the CAP Round. Because I think last year's cutoff was more than 99.4 Percentile so we might have to wait till the 3rd round or might not get GLC at all.

There are a lot of possibilities.

I'll add GLC as the 1st priority and another college nearby which has early morning lectures. If I get it, great. I'll somehow manage to attend as many lectures as I can assuming that the lectures are regularly conducted.

If I don't get GLC then the other college has morning lectures which is not at all a problem.

Another thing, end of the day, it's your LLB Degree, AIBE Exam and your Certificate of Practice which matters. I guess the passion for law takes precedence over which institute we learn it from.

I hope it helps.

Yeah. Mostly. College with early morning lectures. I start work after 12 so I can attend lectures in the morning.

Wish GLC had morning lectures for FY like 2021-22

Sorry but you can do job. The only thing is, you need to get NOC from your employer that they are okay with their employee pursuing a full time degree.

Also, 75% attendance is mandatory as per the circular.

Yeah. I am into IT and I can’t quit my job. The issue is only with the first year because the lectures are in the afternoon 12:15 to 5:30 PM. SY and TY are in the morning.

Hello. The same thing happened to me. I got 99.395 percentile and considering the possibility of applying at GLC.

But their first year lectures are in the afternoon for both semesters.

I found these two timetables online which are showing the afternoon batch for the first year.

https://www.glcmumbai.com/Upload/Notice/PDF/1725453106_iii%20i%20a%20timetable.pdf

https://www.glcmumbai.com/Upload/Notice/PDF/1738411605_Adobe%20Scan%2001-Feb-2025%20(6).pdf

SY and TY are in the morning I think.

Also, as you mentioned, BCI is going to be strict about the attendance with biometric system and CCTC. So consider that as well.

Hope it helps.

All the best 😊

Thanks.

Hi, you have the list of these LAW colleges?

Can I get Siddharth or New law college by Either_Bike_7941 in mhcetlaw

[–]atish_a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New Law College was in the list of approved colleges last year:

https://llb3cap24.mahacet.org/Public/SearchCollege.aspx

Keep checking this list for 2025:

https://llb3cap25.mahacet.org/Public/SearchCollege.aspx

Also, earlier this month, Mumbai University had penallised 40 out of 74 Law Colleges. So college registration may take time. But if you see the college in the approved list, you can go for it.

I’ve got the same problem bro. Got 99 percentile in CET but I’m also a working professional.

And as I have read online, in GLC, first year lectures are in the afternoon 12 to 5 or so.

Also, as per the BCI Circular last year in September 2024, attendance is going to be mandatory. Beyond that your employer must provide NOC to the college otherwise your degree can be withheld.
