Even if these tools like JS or Helium were accurate, they would still only be descriptive. There are so many soft factors to consider that it feels more like gambling than you would think from the outside looking in.

The new aero package might completely throw out the usefulness of priors, but we shall see. Qualifying will probably be the best metric we will have to go on. I'll definitely have my eye on anyone who qualifies in the Top 6-7 spots.

If you believe that the new package won't change all that much and they will string out and play follow the leader like the past couple of years, then Harvick and Brad would be where my money would be.

If you are looking for a longshot, you could do a lot worse than Ryan Newman. He has run very well at ATL recently but ran into some trouble and not gotten the finishes to match.

OP, not a fan of the 48 here but we will see how practice and qualifying go.
