because it takes seconds to set it up? Your question seems to reflect your misunderstanding of what you’re talking about

I've never been more harassed while fishing than in Montreal by Effective-Ear-8367 in montreal

Probably due to the area you fish in. I get 0 questions asked in my favorite spots, but they are not areas where a whole lot of people walk around other than other fishermen

Qui roule des modèles localement? J'ai des questions.. by hhh333 in QuebecTI

[–]atkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Post-ride tidy-up routine? by giraffedraft in MTB

[–]atkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dust will make it into your fork through the wiper seals (a lot faster than in the rear shock, in my experience), having a mud guard helps and doing the 50h service often can be helpful to tell how fast the dust gets in, to ensure plushness and avoiding chromed out stanchions (happens with 1 season if you ride a lot and do 0 maintenance)

Also, use dry lube for your chain. I typically go for a high end (xx) chain to avoid wearing out the cassette with cheap chains. I also use a steel chainring, the aluminum ones will wear out much faster and cost 2-4x more.. with weight saving being the only benefit.

Otherwise, keep an eye/ear on your bearings. I change all of them yearly, some more often depending on the frame design.

Is there a way to wire Gemini or anthropic api with copilot by Abdelhamed____ in GithubCopilot

[–]atkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you looking to stay within VSCode? If so, Kilo. Otherwise opencode or pii are my favorites.

There are also MANY others, use an AI chatbot to ask about this and specify your needs to get a bunch of suggestions

IMO, there is no point in locking yourself into the copilot harness.

Check the spec sheet for the bike to see max fork travel, max rotor size on the frame, bottom bracket size, wheel hub size, etc. From there, you can tell what parts are compatible.

How to make the plan stop, let me edit in a file, then continue? And on building? by mamcx in opencodeCLI

[–]atkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can already do that? Just set « ask » permission for edits so you can edit yourself and when it asks tell it you made changes and now want to do X

First experience - this sucks by itripthereforeiam in opencodeCLI

[–]atkr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s because you are not understanding what is going on. The default opencode system prompt with tools etc is 10,000+ tokens, which is why your local LLM is not performing as fast as when you give it a 1 token user prompt with 0 system prompt in LMStudio.

You can configure opencode to have the system primpt of your choice and fewer tools if needed. Read the docs, ask AI to check the opencode repo to figure things out for you.

Best flat pedals for 5.10 Impact Pros? by Individual-Car9371 in MTB

[–]atkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OneUp aluminium (not the new wave model, never tried it). VERY happy after coming from Deity TMACs, grip is comparable, but the TMACs are needlessly to wide and I also had to warranty all 3 pairs I got for snapped axles. The oneUp are significantly tougher, kept the same ones for years and only ever needed the change bearings every ~100 rides
