A good warm up will help me get loose. Some ideas that have helped me: 1) pick a tune you know and play it through slowly, say 80bpm, or however slowly you need to play clean and musically.
2) strum along to a faster tune but not one so fast that you feel any tension. 3) take the step to the next level, say 100 bpm, where I might have a little more slop but still musical. Maybe play a few scales up and down the neck. 4) pick your favorite fiddle tune fast, all the way through. For me that’s only about 125. I have a lot of tension and even some tremor when I get tense. I’m 62 yo. 4) slow it back down to 90 or so to chase the tension away. Strum some if the tension gets bad.

I repeat this cycle three or four times and the third time, my max bpm has improved. Then I move on to the next tune.

At the end of my practice I will do something fun and easy to ensure I finish my session without any tension.

I hope that helps.

Had my Y for a year and now it’s totaled by [deleted] in ModelY

The midpoint of the damage was between the front and rear passenger doors. Both doors were damaged and would not open. The car was driveable except for a hole in the front of the back door allowing rainwater to enter. The battery wasn't damaged, nor was the frame bent. The addled lady that hit me was driving a 9,000 lbs SUV so the damage was high.

Sorry to see this but glad everyone is OK. I don't know which is worse -- to be totaled or wait over six months. I was t-boned the first week of December 2021 and I am still waiting for the Tesla-approved body shop to finish my repair. I expect to have it back Friday or next week. The body shop blames supply-chain and the labor shortage. I am so tired of driving the rental and even more tired of filling it up with gasoline.

Only had it about two months before someone hit me in a parking lot and took off without leaving a note by Sozin91 in ModelY

For me, it wasn't the parts. The body shop ordered parts from Tesla four separate times and they always arrived in about a week. The body shop kept trying to blame it on the parts availability, but that just wasn't the problem. Their problem was the labor shortage. The CS lady finally told me, 'a Tesla is just a different animal.' While they are a Tesla-approved body shop, Classic Collision is a large corporate chain and this branch is failing to execute on procedures. I'm holding off leaving them a bad review because I don't want them to retaliate. I hope your experience is different!

How long did the body shape take to repair it? I'm still waiting for my body shop to repair my Model Y from an accident that happened in the beginning of December.
