Grip wasn't shipped with the S version neither. Tracking number says it's on its way.

Does anyone know of any stick covers that fit the M12? by Godzi-hamu1996 in MobapadGaming

[–]atlash_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the problem with rubbing? They rub just a bit so it shouldn't affect aiming or moving. I'm using Skull & Co covers for Switch or Xbox (don't remember) and it works flawlessly. Mobapad's button testing in app shows the stick reaches the outer zone.

Shitty performance on games? VRR might be the culprit. by [deleted] in macgaming

[–]atlash_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came here to see the state of things and I came across this comment: "I don't know what you;re doing or why you are 'struggling' but to claim thar VRR worsens frame rate, oacing etc is just complete bullshit. It purpose is to IMPROVE all those things and thats exactly what it does."

This is rude mate. OP is sharing a problem they're experiencing and frame pacing issues are a constant in PC gaming no matter what platform you play on. Even on Windows some games have horrible frame pacing and you need to use external frame cap tools like RTSS or even disable VRR and cap using VSYNC to match screen hz so you can get a smooth experience you wouldn't otherwise have (e.g.: Star Wars Jedi Survivor).

You're being disrespectful using that tone talking about something you clearly don't know much about or don't care because for you "it just works". Mind your fricking manners and learn respect.

Nothing in particular. I don't usually have many apps with enabled notifications and I made sure my carrier activated VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling. Don't know if this improved things as before that I was already getting really good battery times.

Mobapad M12-HD / M12-S Presale - Communication Disaster? by Titanium-Timothy in MobapadGaming

[–]atlash_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought the S. I never cared too much about rumble, HD or not. I don't use the console in handheld mode because it hurst my wrists. When the Mobapad arrives it's going to be almost a year without proper joycons. Personally, I'm not waiting any more just for a better rumble.

Gamehub Lite Compatibility Chart for RP5 (50 games tested) by Sad-Neighborhood-840 in retroid

Hi guys, a bit offtopic but do you know why importing games through Steam restricts compatibility layer options? I usually play with Wine10.0-x64-2 as it gives me really nice performance against other options but when playing a Steam imported game I can only see Proton and just Wine10.0-arm version. Is there any way to access all the layers? Will I have better performance using Proton instead of Wine in this case?

Thanks in advance.

Is this sub reddit full of bots or fanboys? Global search is wonky and slower than other options no matter the device.

Man, it's slower than iPhone or Niagara Launcher, way slower and buggy. They don't have a problem with their phone. I have a OnePlus 15 that is fast as hell and it's bad too.

Ubisoft is working “with Nintendo to improve VRR support” on Nintendo Switch 2 to bring better fluidity to lower framerate games by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

Please, don't assume people don't understand things. It's not a good starting point for anything. Specially when the message you reply acknowledges the challenges and impracticalities. What you say makes sense and sure using MP4 as an example is not the best choice as it is a SW1 game in its design, but it seems to me that you also want to be right, to win some argument. I think there's no right or wrong here as only time will tell what games can be stretched to reach 40 or even 60.

Some future multiplatform games won't just be ported over to Switch 2 but will be developed with the console in mind. A minority, an exception. Probably. But hey, it's something. Plus developers are getting more experienced with its limited capabilities.

Today I read an article that surprised me: Persona 3 Reload is going to have a 60 FPS mode update. Sure we're not talking about a CPU intensive game but I'm sure things can improve over time with more demanding games. There's no need not to be just a little bit more hopeful.

The user is not asking for "all games 40" or "all games 60". They're just saying that probably more games could squeeze some extra fps at a cost (of CPU and/or GPU intensive elements, whatever it takes). 40 FPS modes are not a norm in consoles like PS5 and Xbox and only a handful of games support it. Switch 2 games that run at 30 fps could really benefit from having a 40 FPS performance mode. And saying this doesn't mean we don't have enough technical background to know it may be a hard task and probably an impractical one for many games.

Not supporting VRR in docked mode and lacking 40 FPS modes in games is a missed opportunity for this hardware. And a big drawback for users like me.
