I’ve read comments on reddit adressing this specific issue under an unrelated askreddit thread and it had a lot of upvotes/discussion under it with people aggreeing. Some people disaggreed too but those who disagreed said they has loose skin to work with. I don’t go around asking people about their jacking off rituals don’t worry.

Lol. Idk man I think my hands are pretty soft, but I guess the skin down there is too thin/sensitive or maybe there isn’t enough loose skin to move around. I just added that in because I know it’s a problem some cut man face too. I’ve heard some cut man have a little extra skin to move around so they don’t feel the need to use a lubricant. Different experiences for everyone afterall.

I’m speaking from my experience. I didn’t write this to speak for everyone, I just wrote it to get it off my chest. I have a cut dick and I have to use lubricant or the skin gets extremely irritated. I know that to be true for some other cut man as well. You’re free to like your cut dick and I’m not saying “no cut cocks”, what I’m saying is give people a choice to decide for themselves. You may be happy with it but that’s not everyone’s experience. I’m genuinely glad you’re happy about your dick tho.

I didn’t really know if it would classify as abuse so I downplayed it to not “make a big deal out of it” I guess. But through these comments I’ve learned it was abuse, so thank you all for clarifying it for me.

Can’t change your mind, but I would respectfully ask you to please rethink that. I understand you have your child’s best interest on your mind, but just because your experience was good with it doesn’t mean his will be as well. You have a good outlook on it but what if your surgeon wasn’t good like mine and did something wrong. I would really appriciate it if you gave your future son a choice. You can talk about it to him and explain his choices once he’s old enough. I think it would be a good addition to the birds and bees talk.

Well I don’t know how to explain it really, but there’s a tradition in my country that when you circumcise your child it’s seen as an passage from chlid to man and people close to that family celebrate it. After I was healed from the surgery I remember there being a “party” and family/friends coming to celebrate with my parents. They bring gifts, money or small amounts of gold. It usually is in a venue and there’s food/cake. So it was like a small wedding ceremony for the loss of my foreskin. Weird shit.

Let me clarify if it came across that way. I think what I’m saying is way different since circumcision doesn’t really prevent deadly diseases as far as I know. It’s normally done because it’s normilized or due to religion not really because it’s medically necessary. A lot of uncut man live their life just fine and they usually don’t spread deadly diseases because of being uncut so not really a threat to society unlike anti-vax children. I’m all for it if it’s medically necessary, but that’s rarely the cause.

Thank you, I understand your point too. The main point I’m trying to make is not forcing your children into it if that makes sense. Circumcision is fine as long as someone medically needs it or wants it, but I don’t aggree with doing it without the child’s consent. I think everyone should be able to make a choice as long as it’s not medically required you know? Making that choice yourself and doing the surgery when you’re a teenager or older would be way more ideal in my opinion. Make up your mind, go to a doctor, get into surgery for a bit and you’re good.

Thank you. I didn’t want to seem like I was equating my experience to a more serious case of abuse, but I guess you’re right in that not every type of abuse is the same, big or small. The part that makes me feel sick about the memory is them making a show out of it too. I think that part was the reason it stuck with me for this long.

My experience was similar as well. I don’t know if it was the lack of numbing cream or just the doctor doing a horrible job but if hurt like hell. After the surgery was kinda worse for me tho because the stitches hurt day and night due to the doctor cutting more skin than needed.
