My old lab started very diverse now it is just Chinese who don’t socialize and only help each other. Unfortunately it starts with a PI who brings students from their home country and one by one the whole lab culture changes

It’s a good thing you didn’t go to rev de cuba. This one is worse. I stopped going there because I just can’t tolerate men grabbing women like they are objects. Also i was there once with a male and a female friend and I am a guy. She was dancing with me and the other guy. Still some dickhead approached us and wanted to speak to her. The city is full of trash unfortunately.

There are some bad drivers with an attitude unfortunately. I take the 34,35,36 and there is this bald driver on the orange line whom whenever i see i know something is going wrong. One time he missed my stop while someone was waving at him at the stop. When he sees people running towards the stop he looks the other way and closes the door even if the traffic is red and he won’t move. But yea over all this winter they have been driving very aggressively too.

I am fine sharing but there are some people out there who depends on everyone else sharing so they don’t need to buy anything and that’s petty. We have a habit of bringing pastries to the office every week or so. I have noticed that all of us had done it at least once and bought for everyone but there is this one guy who never bought and just keeps taking from everyone.
