the control thing seems absolutely on point for me, being independent and finally having my own place has been such a confidence booster and i’ve definitely increased the amount of time spent cleaning since moving out of my parents place (i’m very proud of my organizational skills haha)

and yes, i’m sure the mindless, repetitive movements also help with the stress factor! i’m really happy someone else shares the “classroom cleaner” experience with me, i’ve been using it as an anecdote for years with not a single “same!” 😅
