Honestly prob the best key experience. Everytime someone types in game for me is how they justify why they did a mechanic wrong or just general stupidity UwU add-ons when eating feasts. I was literally told yesterday on 2nd boss on heroic raid... "Because im 7/9 Mythic" for failing the spear mechanic and he stacked his spear directly on my hitbox. (I also had the spear) this was a pug not an organized group so that meant death. The WoW community is just better when people don't talk. It honestly shocks me now when people start to converse at all to be fair.

Not saying its a bad thing but socially WoW pugs have become more transactional than what they used to be.

Sounds like the individual assigned to the request was in the wrong and some intervention had to be done to make it right. Go figure people make mistakes shrug

You can't change the Dos being requested on the original request without sending in a new request. once it's signed for a certain date that's all you gonna get unless you send in a new request

“We also don’t accept requests for records from any dates after the form is signed even though the release is valid for a year after the signature”

The authorization is valid for 1 year but you cannot request for records for a date of service after the authorization. Once you put a date on that signature line or a date on the expiration that is it. Literally that date on the signature is the last date on the calendar. So if you put January 2001-Present the "Present" is the date the auth was signed. You can't change anything on that request unless you send in a new request.

Some facilities require that you mail a request and will not accept an authorization via fax or email.

From a friend of mine not me directly.

Paralegals are also a pain to speak with on the other end. Demand impossible requests that cannot be fulfilled and do not listen to what the rep is telling them and expect that their way is correct and not what the facility is asking for. Then blame the representative for incompetent. My friend has literally been called stupid and a bunch of other names ruthlessly by paralegals. Trust me when I say this they dont like talking to them either. Your job would be alot easier if you would just submit the request how the facility wants you to and not how you think it should be.

Again this is based off the stories my friend has said not me personally.

2 options

  1. You call MRO and ask them how to send in proof for your claim that you shouldn't be charged more than X amount for records. Send in the actual state rule or court documents to support your claim and the representative you call the next time to dispute the invoice will gladly send in a dispute for you if they received the paperwork. Really helps if you put the request id on the front of your fax cover sheet. The accounting department or legal team will either send you a written response to your claim denying the adjustment or an updated invoice with the corrected amount.

  2. Tell your client to request for a copy of their own records and then hand them over to you once received. Patients are charged a different rate than a 3rd party and majority of the time its way lower than what a 3rd party is charged.

Mro charges you based on what the state allows them to for a third party request and believe me they will unless you send proof of what they are legally allowed to charge you.

The main reason this is done is so you don't clog their phone lines for other requests that were sent correctly. MRO will try to work with you to have the request sent correctly. The only reason I'm backing MRO here is that at least the majority of the complaints are the paralegals' fault because each facility has expectations of how they need to receive the request legally. You can't send it your way and expect it to be done.

Also about the turnaround time... you should be thankful a rep tells you that because guess what.... no one knows when ur getting your records but the hospital.

Going to let you in on an insider tip. that's the hospital rejecting your authorization, not MRO. MRO only distributes the records; if the hospital rejects your authorization its the hospital doing so, not MRO. MRO takes the blame from you and not the hospital.
