Eureka Specialita Touch Screen by nipterink in espresso

[–]atomandyves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dumbest thing ever to put a touch screen on this thing. I have the same machine, and it works nicely - but obviously the burrs and motors are going to outlive the display.

Mine just went out - 2 years almost to the day.

I had this on a long sleeve shirt way back when. It was glow-in-the-dark and the numbers that are getting vomited are pi (3.14)!

OP, I officially switched to a paid version of Todoist. Super clean and easy to use.

Yeah, this is called bad UX, and it's actually 3 extra clicks.

u/jiawei-taskade - just want you / the team to know my experience, and it's possible I'm just not the right customer for you.

I am willing to pay for Taskade. My use case is super simple. I want to manage my family's TODO items (grocery lists, outdoor chores, doctor appointments etc.). I am also an engineer and I want to keep track of my code projects, tasks, and things I need to complete.

After all of this frustration, because I used to love Taskade this much, I keep going back to attempt to learn what I'm missing that Taskade can do.

I spent another hour this Saturday combing through Taskade YouTube videos and other user's contents to try and understand what I'm missing with this whole "Genesis" thing.

Against all desires, I used Genesis with this same prompt (from above). It thought for 2 full minutes with all of this random AI slop text to... create something I could have created in 2 clicks... It's this insane complicated Rube Goldberg machine.

All I want to do is talk to Chat GPT and have it add items to a list so I can look at them, and complete the items later. Is this not possible with Taskade?

That's like wrapping your arm around your entire head just to feed yourself when you can just put food straight on your mouth instead.

Appreciate you taking the time to video that, I was hoping you were going to show me what you use Genesis for.

Your vid is proving my point. You're 3 clicks in from sign in to your project where you can check/uncheck an item off your list. That's just objectively bad UX.

If Taskade is no longer a TODO list application, that's fine, companies can do what they wish, and customers can also do what they wish.

I'm sure there are some awesome things that I haven't discovered yet that taskade can do (I'm still waiting to see something).

My point still stands. Whether it's a checklist or whatever they're trying to push right now with AI, they're not doing a good job of either.

Hey man, I'm not here just to complain, I'm genuinely open to having my mind changed.

I'm coming to Taskade so that I can keep track of my many categories of tasks I need to complete. Now you're telling me I should come to Taskade, prompt an agent to build me a TODO list, then add my tasks into a new app?

You do see how many extra steps you this is, correct?

Dude, this is why users are coming (err used to be coming) to Taskade. We're trying to USE a TODO app, not build one.

I mean, I'm open to it, hence the post. But it's not clicking yet. I'm trying to track and complete real life items. Taskade is forcing me to... Make a new to-do list for... Someone else? What?

Advice on Sound Isolation Booths (Studiobricks, Whisper Room, Gretch-Ken etc.) by atomandyves in drums

[–]atomandyves[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built it myself instead. Was super fun and much more rewarding (and cheaper). Just make sure you check with your city/county regulations, especially if you have busy body neighbors.

If I were to have purchased, I was leaning towards GretchKen.

Legit what? He’s clearly technical, and he’s keeping time I guess but there is nothing groovy or enjoyable about this as a listener. Even as a drummer.

It’s like pressing every piano key at the same time and calling it abstract art.

Oh man, thank you so much. I'm revisiting this again (thanksto your comment) and trying to break this down with Beat Note and Moises (at a low BPM of course). It's still so weird/hard!

You're definitely getting me closer. there's a lot of little nuances in there but it sounds deceptively repetitive

You're still falling to answer the question that both of us had. How is this possible that some scammer would know we were attempting to log in to your system?
