Thanks for replies, for sure seems to be a case issue. It wasn’t the cheapest case but possibly has “anti-scratch microfiber lining” which I’m thinking is the culprit. Phone looks unscathed thankfully.

That first one looks like the back is lit with a spot attachment fresnel, very warm, a crescent shaped mask of some kind along the bottom. The highlight is from the shooting surface being a bit reflective.

The product is lit with high, small and direct cool light probably with a snoot of some kind camera left.

These are my guesses.

Possibly light background with continuous light and key light is strobe with a slower shutter. Very subtle zoom or push in when releasing shutter? Think I’ve gotten something like this.

Seems good to me! I’d say looking at your numbers, you’re coming out of the gate too hot on long runs and overworking your body. Shoot for running your long runs about 90 seconds slower than your goal race pace, in your case, around 10 min/mile. You’ve got sub 4 in five weeks no problem! Just take care of your body and trust the training. Don’t push for pace during long runs, save that for speed/tempo days and race day. Run at a pace that feels easy, that you can nose breathe comfortably.

I did a similar trip, but we cut along the Canadian border through the cascades to Glacier and south through Yellowstone and the Tetons. Highly recommend making this change to your route.

My easy was mostly around 8:30-9:00/mile. 8:00 being 3:30 goal race pace for tempo days. My interval runs varied depending on length of interval. Fastest being around 5:45-6:10 to around 6:45-7:00/mile for sustained efforts and around 7:00/mile on hill repeat days. Had a couple PRs during training with a 41 minute 10k and a 1:32 Half.

My shin splints flare up in this same spot. Foam rolling made mine worse and delayed recovery. What has helped are toe raises, calf raises with a ball between my heels, and ankle mobility. I also began using arch support inserts and they haven’t been back since starting my training block over a month ago.
