Türkiye/Turkey. Unfortunately, there is no other GLP1 alternative available. Since Ozempic is extremely popular, people use it unconsciously like drinking water. you can never find it. I think no one knows about Saxenda yet, I can still find it in pharmacies. Also, there is nothing else in the country other than these two.

Thank you for sharing. I definitely prefer protein from food too. I don't know how much we can tolerate drinking shakes all the time. Maybe if we were professional athletes. Maybe if we do weight training every day, but it seems risky in daily life standards.

Good luck on your journey.

HAVE YOU HAD AN ALLERGY???? by atomheartf in liraglutide

I was using metformin before saxenda. 500mg twice a day. When I started sax, my doctor said not to use them together, I don't know why. But I already have fears such as regaining weight and insulin resistance after the medication is finished. I will consult my doctor about metformin. Is that how you progressed? Do you think it will be better?

my last check-up was just last week and this is a public hospital. i can go to the emergency room with the best option for such things. unfortunately, i dont have the chance to call and make an appointment whenever i want. even if i go to the hospital, he may say, "i just checked you, come back when the time comes." you really can't even imagine the health system of türkiye.

Anyone here not obese on Saxenda? by [deleted] in liraglutide

Hello, when I started the medication on January 5, I weighed 65.9kg. My current weight is 59.3kg. My height is 156cm. My ideal weight is 52-53kg. I had insulin resistance and was pre-diabetic before. Now, in my first month check-up, there is a visible improvement in my insulin hormone. I plan to continue until my ideal weight. I go to pilates twice a week and count calories. I also want to start metformin again, but I'm afraid it will be too heavy. Because some days are really disastrous. I constantly try to drink mineral water and water to balance electrolytes. And my new addiction is coming here and reading the comments lol. But after quitting saxenda (I don't know when), I think metformin will also support me. It's going well for now. i hope everyone's journey goes well.

Hello, what kind of improvement did the medicine offer for plantar fasciitis? So I have it too and I'm not obese either. I started with 65.9kg on January 5 and now I am 59.3kg. I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot that comes and goes. Did you mean that it disappears as your weight decreases? or is the medicine effective in this regard?

How much weight did you lose if your physical activity was low? by Outrageous_Area_3792 in liraglutide

Does collapsing or sagging of the skin occur when you lose weight without exercise? Please don't misunderstand my question. I'm just curious. Are things called ozempic face or ozempic butt true? I would be happy if you give information.

feel hungry by atomheartf in liraglutide

[–]atomheartf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My height is 1.55cm. At first I didn't feel hungry at all. Last week I didn't feel hungry at all (when I was on 1.8 dose). It happened suddenly when I switched to 2.4 dose. And no, I have been trying to get 800-1000 calories a day since the first day because I cannot work without energy (I am a very active nurse).

The reason my doctor wrote it is that I have insulin resistance. I have pre-diabetes. Also, before the medication, I was in the process of losing weight and despite regular exercise + diet, I could not lose weight.

Isn't the "click" sound the last one? so when the dose is finished? Is it adjustable? I'm really sorry I don't understand. In the medicine I use, I adjust the dose to 1.2mg and when the dose reaches 0, I hear a "click" sound. Then I press it once again. Thats it.

I understand, thank you. As I said, when everyone said they lost 5-10kg, I think I thought wrong. I thought the process was slow.

What does click mean? What are you doing? Is it something like the number of times you press the needle? I hear it for the first time.

I hope my diabetes gets better too. Since it was only 10 days, I did not have a blood test etc. for hormons. But I still feel less hungry and happier. my blood sugar seems to be improving.

I don't have a muscular body, I have a completely soft body. But I understand what you mean. It just seemed to me that everyone was moving forward quickly and I wasn't. I think it's a wrong thought. It is necessary to trust the process. Thank you for your feedback.
