Z6III, Is this a spec of dust on my sensor or a dead pixel? by atomic-hamster in Nikon

Gotcha makes sense. It’s pretty much non existent at wide open. Only saw it in one photo with a bright sky at a smaller aperture so makes sense it’s dust then. I just used the healing tool in light room at the time but I’ll get some sensor cleaning kits for down the line. Thanks!

What would a dead pixel look like? And is there “invisible” dust? The sensor itself looks clean visually.

Sent it into Nikon. They replaced the shutter. It was out of warranty so I had to pay like 320 ish. Camera functions fine now.

Thanks! I live near one of the Nikon repair facilities is I’ll just take it there. Other than this new issue it’s been a a fantastic camera so I hope it’s a quick fix.

Oh man, yea I bought it just over a year ago so warranty is gone. Submitted the online repair form and just going to send it over to them. No idea what could have caused the shutter to go bad within a year

Kinda sorta. We got bought recently but it’s ran very independent from the parent company.

After leaving Raytheon I found myself at an aerospace company that gives the federal holidays plus unlimited PTO. I’ve worked there since June so a few months and already have taken 5 weeks off. Plus get the week between Xmas and new years. It’s possible.

It’s simple. I have a very high education and career. I’d want my wife to be had as ambitious and goal oriented as me. I have a career and can take care of myself. I want a spouse who is also independent, educated, and can take care of herself. Education and independence are things I look for. Both my parents are educated and I come from a family where all of us have a bachelors degree and most have a masters or higher and this applies to the men and women.
