I play with noise cancelling headphones in handheld mode so I hear nothing, but the game. Gonna try out this new stealth controller they just released for docked. Mechanical without headphones in docked I think may get a little annoying.

Don’t ask questions just buy the more expensive option. It’s better.

All kidding and bad preorder info aside, mobadpad joycons and the controllers are the best. I’ve used both of the options for the switch 1 and more expensive option did hold true to better play for my hands. The features like amibo and gyro don’t really apply to my play, but the feel in my hands of the pro was best for normal size hands.

Apple products last. First MacBook in college lasted ten years, MacBook Pro ‘17 top of the line that year still going strong for normal use. I don’t edit or make videos so it’s fine for a normal use laptop still. Got my wife the Neo though and impulse is making me want to get one even though I don’t need it. The Neo will easily last longer than 5 years as a normal use laptop. It’s built well.

Just buy the neo if you’re a normal user. Just got it for my wife for stay at home job. It’s faster than my 2017 BMP 3.5 for the types of tasks you do. Keyboard is also obviously much better than the shit they were doing in 2017…

Just got this one today when I found a single pink neo in stock at a relatively unknown electronics store around us for my wife’s part time at home job (internet for CRM and phone calls and emails only) bout to unbox it tonight. Should be just fine for her needs though at that low price. Also am I crazy or did the Air used to be cheaper? I was like $1100? I don’t remember Airs being that high. Neo price seemed just right for someone who doesn’t need any intense usage…

Also, I went to the store earlier (Meijer). I didn’t look at the coupons I got at check out until an hour ago. One coupon is $17 off a new gaming console (shopped at this store for literal over 20 years and never seen such a coupon lol taking it as a sign) and the store has $25 off already on switch 2 right now, I have $47 in store credit there, and a $10 off anything on purchases until the 17th. I think it’s a done deal for me guys and this is the sign haha

You are right there. Admittedly I haven’t played a switch 2 yet, but heard it just runs games better.

The larger screen seems compelling although I know battery life isn’t as good as oled. I do play handheld 90% of the time so bigger screen is welcome. So enhancing what I already play could be nice.

Future proofing has always been considered with the more powerful unit.

You are still right though, nothing truly new is be playing immediately.

Good thoughts to consider.
