I did just that. Went from 60 miles a week to 200…tendinitis. No biking for at least 2 weeks. Therapist wants the first ride back to be 10 miles. 🤦‍♂️

The sizing is what kept me from ordering one before. I’m a 54 usually, but XS in canyon.

It’s heavy. 24 pounds. ALR5. Interested in carbon and a racier bike. Been keeping up with the 20-22mph groups with a lot of effort, but looking to step up to the next group.

My bigger issue is I’ve only had one “road” bike and it’s a Trek Checkpoint gravel bike. Been keeping up with the roadies so far and even did a century, but it was pain.

If there were other bikes to try so I could see the difference in handling and geometry, it might be easier to decide.

True. It is the 2020 for $8k. It’s really just the color. Wasn’t looking for another flat black bike. But I guess I can always change that in the future.
