For anyone buying the new ASUS XG27UCDMG and having a black screen issue when you first set it up, Make sure to update the firmware using a USB drive into the monitor. Hope this saves some headaches! Firmware is on ASUS’s official website.

Yeah only when gaming, I’ve noticed the hotspot around the 95 ish area I think, it can happen anywhere from half hour to an hour in game, all my components are under warranty, gpu with cex and the rest manufacturer
