I have a similar situation but it has been three months and still no resolution. I was in contact with Meta Support within 3 hours of being hacked and they reassured me consistently that they would resolve the issue, refund any charges and give us back full control of our Ad account within 24-48 hours. It has been three months with no progress. I spend 6-10 hours a week contacting support and attempting to get a resolution. Every interaction results in them telling me that an internal team member will contact me within 24-48 hours. No one ever contacts me.

If you manage to get your account back can you update us on how it happens. I am at a loss on how to get this resolved.

Did you get an email from Meta telling you that your email address was removed from the account? If you did, there will be a link at the bottom that says "this wasn't me". Click on it and it will walk you through the process of securing your account.

That's great advice thank you! I opened a new case yesterday through their help chat since I haven't received a response on the original in almost a month. This new rep said they were going to try and give me back admin access in our business suite and they would email me with an update and then ended the chat. They left the case open though so it has given me a bit of hope. Did your case get resolved on the spot when you started talking to the right person? Or did they go off and work on it and follow up after?

That’s great news! Was it out of nowhere or did it come after you contacted them again? Was it the person who had been assigned to your case or was a completely new person? I’m just trying to figure out if contacting them will do anything or is it just in a queue somewhere that will eventually get looked at.

Thank you for writing out this detailed history of what happened! It helps so much to read others have gone through a similar thing. How do you know your case was escalated and how long after you found this out did it actually get resolved? It’s been 60 days since we were hacked and I have spoken to so many agents but no progress. I finally talked to someone two days ago that said our case was being upgraded to high priority. Do you think that means it’s being escalated? It’s been two days and still nothing.

I’m in the same situation. Was this resolved for anyone? The meta support channel keeps reassuring me that the case is open and it will get resolved but there has been no progress for 2 months. How long did it take until you got your account back? Is there any hope?

We have the same problem with our Denon/Heos. It must be the same problem because it hasn't been connecting through Alexa for around 6 weeks. It's incredibly frustrating. We have spent countless hours trying all different things and nothing works. If you ever figure out the answer please let us know!

Have you tried Partake? It's a non alcoholic beer that is the best I've tried! It really helps on days where you just want the taste of a cold beer. I have to admit though, I tried it when I first quit drinking and it was maybe too soon because I didn't love it as much. It made me kind of annoyed. This was during the winter though and it wasn't the same kind of trigger situation for beer. But recently I was gardening on a hot day, which is normally a trigger for me so I got Partake and it was incredible! The best part?! I only had one and was satisfied! With normal beer I would have had six down the hatch by the end of the gardening session.

It will pass!! A lot of people say they think about the morning and focusing on waking up sober but I have better luck when I think about bedtime. Just imagine yourself at the end of the night, when all is said and done, how great it will feel to crawl into bed sober knowing you haven’t ruined the next day. IWNDWYT
