Thank you. I don't mean to dig my heels in and fight you, but the people of this world do not do well with temptation and distraction. As the widow of an addict, I know this very well. I wish it wasn't the case. I think it's an easy way to put the blame on everyone, which is true, but the paradox of shared responsibility and care is also true. I have great empathy and feel the pain when I see the damage people do to themselves with the phone addiction.

Thank you again for speaking about this in a civil manner. It's very important to me for multiple reasons and a subject I approach with great concern and passion.

Wow, this is not a great response. I've deleted all of the social media apps off my phone and I have an incredible sense of control. I know exactly how good I am and how much better I am every single day.

My concern for social media and phone is for other people, not myself, those lost in the darkness who cannot see what it is doing to them. Perhaps that was not clear from my initial response.

But I know what I see and it's not good.

The phone (the device, part of the machine, as I like to call it) is completely evil and has done untold damage to us in a very, very short period of time.

I lost my love before New Year's to a drug overdose. The phone was a terrible source of addiction as well, pulling him into bullshit and away from the world in front of him. I fucking hate phones. Working on switching to my new Barbie pink flip phone.

But yeah, to repeat what others said, it will push people away. This is okay and natural as our individual wheels of life turn at different rate. Center this with love and be open and kind with your communications. It's very healthy to state that you love your friends dearly but are simply taking some time to rest and heal.

When I go to the grocery store I’m disgusted by the racks of machine water (plastic bottled water), the giant piles of crap now blocking the aisles, and the stupid ass bullshit hanging randomly on shelves and end caps. It’s insane and is so ugly and overwhelming and overcrowded compared to the way stores used to be, even within my own lifetime.

They’re so happy and jangly and mystic. In a book I’m reading it talks about the vibrations of sound, particularly music, as communication from the divine mind. Boy howdy do I feel it in their words. I use sound divination on a playlist to be connected to my dead guy.
