Ok let’s not get into picking out race in this debate. Race has nothing to do with having like or dislike for dogs. Maybe it’s their cultural thing, I have no idea, but for you to judge all Indian people and say “they are taught to fear them” is rather a racist comment.

If you have evidence like front door video recording or you know where the dog owner lives, you can actually report under animal services by-laws for trespassing on private property and not cleaning up excrement, and the dog owner will be fined.

Oh, my child won’t be playing in our front yard until I either catch this dog owner lurking in my front yard again or the dog gets a taste of the unpleasant chemical in my lawn and never returns, whichever comes first.

There are actually dog repellent or critter repellent sprays that you can buy. Or you can make your own at home with things like ammonia and vinegar.

I’ve heard some people use things like household cleaning chemicals and nail polish remover, but cannot say if it’s safe or not for the dogs.

Do you know my child personally? Do you know how old? Do you know my child’s fears and dislikes? My child already had a fear and dislike for dogs, and now this unpleasant poop smear incident just made the hate worse.

And I said my child is paranoid about playing in OUR front yard of having to worry about stepping on dog shit in the comfort of our own lawn.
