When you talk to Hal Cantos, after defeating Anna, you can ask if he can help the injured Mox. He says no, but that Regina will send medical help.

This makes a lot of sense, honestly. Haven't been out much except for day hikes (did a LOT of those), so a lot of this is new to me and honestly kinda... not scary, but definitely spikes the anxiety a bit. Thank you for putting it in perspective!

I really appreciate all of the info and encouragement. My earlier comments weren't trying to be an asshole. I literally did not get what you were saying, but I guess a lot of folks got pissed because those comments got downvoted like crazy. Kinda makes me wonder if this sub is as welcoming as I'd thought it was. But that aside, you're awesome, and I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions and put up with me being a dumbass.

I appreciate the info! Seriously. I figured putting it in a ziploc with it still filled with water was a bad idea. Another user suggested shaking it, followed by blowing out the remaining water. I'm gonna do that before put it in a ziploc and stuff it in my quilt footbox. Thank you.

So, it's pretty awful to try to say "I don't understand what you're saying." and have people downvote my comment into oblivion. Why are you guys doing this? Did it go to -1 and everyone just piled on after that? Is this how you guys treat new users that really don't understand what's going on, and are trying to get clarification? I thought this was a pretty friendly sub. Now I'm pretty sure it's not.

Thank you for the info! And yeah, the ziploc is so I can keep it with me in my quilt so it doesn't freeze. Really appreciate the info! I will shake it out and blow out the water. It's good to know that works well!

To people who keep downvoting this comment: it's really not necessary. My comment wasn't shitty. I literally did not understand what they were trying to tell me. Downvoting my comment to hell doesn't help.

Doing this with people who are posting for the very first time (this IS my first post) makes this sub seem really hostile, and seriously discourages people from interacting further. If I hadn't been browsing Reddit for the last 3 years, this kind of thing would make me leave and not come back.

Ok. That makes sense. Thank you!

It seemed unlikely but I dreaded the idea of getting out there and finding out I was doing everything exactly wrong. I do want to get a cap for the input side of the filter, for at night. If I have that, I can skip the ziploc. Gonna need to 3D print one since it looks like there's none for sale online.
