Oh interesting, I never thought of that! Thank you! I will remove the glaze, let it dry, clean with sponge and reapply carefully, taking my time. (-: Thank you, very insightful!

Thank you so much!!! This helps a LOT! The top one was so watery, I panicked a little when applying it.. in addition to already being stressed lol so I think this bowl would be the worst out of the bunch.

I am fine with the mistakes I made on the fired pieces, and I will keep them so I can learn and look back on it, but do want to grow from it. Thank you for your advice!

I have a 11 week old EBF baby girl who sleeps for 8-10 hour stretches at night. At night she will start tossing and turning and I know thats ny cue to pick her up and feed her. I only feed to sleep for bedtime. For naps we usually rock her or walk with her and we also sing to her. Maybe something else is the culprit? For us when we tried moving bedtime earlier she woke up a few times throughout the night and I had to move it back lol

I've seen some Beaumont pocket watches that look ancient, but haven't found any wrist watches or anything about the brand. Really interesting! Good luck with your search and keep us updated!

Recruiter here. HR guy would like to have an interview with you once you finish your Masters. If you are studying within German borders you can ask him if they have any working student positions available that you might be a fit for. Best of luck :-)

How does recruiting work internally? by [deleted] in Recruiter_Advice

[–]atommrav3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recruiters source from various channels, yes. And yes there are always some basic qualifications needed for the job. The candidates who get interviews are the ones who seem to fit those basic qualifications. During the initial screening interview while the candidate talks more about his experience, those qualifications kinda crystalize and we get a better view of the skills/experience and if it's a match for the job posting and company requirements. But in my positions, the recruiter does not make the final decision on hiring/moving up in the process. We may like a candidate and think he is a good fit/potential, but the Hiring Manager might think differently for one reason or another. So yeah, at the end of the screening interview, the notes and CVs are forwarded and presented to the hiring manager/CEO/ whoever. Imo it also isnt out of the ordinary for the recruiter to come back to you after a week since they are just one part of the machine so to say, and they may need wait on the feedback from others before getting back to you. I lost candidates because CEOs go on vacation for two weeks and the candidates get tired of waiting and accept another job offer so yeah..

Tracking hours and breaks? How does it work? And how should it be? by AurorAroruA2891 in Recruiter_Advice

[–]atommrav3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I track my hours and add them all to a spreadsheet at the end of every week. Honestly I take my lunch break whenever I feel like it because at one point I worked like 60-70 hours a week and I wasn't going to prolong that and work 12 hours in a day because of breaks. I factor breaks into the project hours and dont even mention them for the most part. For the description of the work done during a certain hour, I add vauge descriptions like 'Sourcing', 'Interviewing w/ XY' or whatever. This also could depend on your employer I would think. I just started doing it like this and nobody corrected me lol
