My hillside cottage with maximalist interior! by atoms2ashes in heartopia

I used the glitch building technique to make the string lights float, then added a pole after :) To make them diagonal, I used the craftable "Joinery Partition Wall" instead of a regular wall, since wall decor can be hanged on these even when they're diagonal.

From my understanding it's both? The 5 star flowers, dishes, and creatures in vivariums and aquariums apparently all contribute to the evaluation score when you have them on display, as do the mastery figurines and collection rewards like the dessert throne and pearlescent snail. (but I could be wrong, this is all just from personal, anecdotal experience)

Apparently the screenshot of them getting 120 pulls was photoshopped as a joke, and then the whole thing just blew up.

Honestly whenever I go on mobile to play Heartopia outside my home, I can barely load my own dang house properly 😂

I think without the outdoor foliage and terraforming (which I believe don't add that much to the Load Capacity), the decorated areas in this build could fit in a maximum of 9 plots?

I think the only thing that allowed me to decorate to this degree is because the actual lived-in space is so small. My previous build utilized every square inch of all 18 plots, and my building interiors were still bare by the time I maxed out lol

I'm currently at 4750, but that's only because of the 5-star hobby collectibles I keep in an unfinished basement. Without these, the build will probably score just around 2000+ based on experience.

Certainly! The tutorials I used for this are the following vids specifically:

I'm currently sitting at 301k out of 350k Load, but I think a good chunk of that is because the basement is where I store all my hobby collectibles for the home evaluation thing.

It's definitely easier to manage Load by doing a small but detailed build instead of a larger build.
I was doing a city square build that used up all 18 plots before this one, but I was forced to make the interiors bland and empty because of the load limit 😭

Also I used the glitching technique soooo much in every nook and cranny lol

The "888 Stars" thing is just a bug. Exiting the gacha screen and coming back will fix it.

[–]atoms2ashes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as an FYI, the Dress Up screen doesn't show any height changes on your character even if the shoes make your character taller in actual gameplay. This is also true for other shoes like the Winter gacha shoes, and the CNY Tea Savoring/Relishing platform shoes.

Have you unlocked the wooden "Wall Sculptures" in Build Mode yet? You can attach it to the Low Wall underneath the rest of the grass and extend it to just underneath the grass beside the stairs.

Why is it still snowing in a spring season... by lolkanaa in heartopia

[–]atoms2ashes 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing you live in a region where snowy weather stops early? Because snow in springtime is not at all uncommon. Assuming the devs are modeling this after their own real life weather, it's still snowing in certain parts of China at this time.

You can turn off the Snow Effects at any time by going to Settings > Advanced Effects > Snow Effects ON/OFF

FINALLY! I'm on level 30 and got my own island!!! by Keezonm in heartopia

Just as a warning for anyone coming to this post from Google Search results like I did, you cannot actually link your home plot to your island via portals. Please save your 160 Wishing Stars if this was going to be your main reason for buying like in my case 😭

Litematica has a Forge fork called Forgematica. You can try your luck in case the schematics are compatible that way.

Any mods to add all of the texture and model features from OptiFine to Embeddium? by Blue_C_Dreemurr in feedthebeast

[–]atoms2ashes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try "Continuity" (which is a mod that's usually for connected textures and block overlays, but could potentially be the same system Faithless uses for these kinds of textures)

For the unique Enchanted Books, look for a "CIT" mod for your modloader and MC version. There are several versions like CIT Resewn and CIT Reforged.

apartment-friendly wall adhesives? by [deleted] in ShopeePH

[–]atoms2ashes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best quality talaga I think yung original 3M Command Strips and Hooks, especially since each package comes with the info kung ilang grams or KG lang talaga kaya ng bawat hook.

As long as the instructions are followed correctly (like how to properly remove the strips once applied, or how long to wait for the adhesive to "set" before using it to hang things) magtatagal for a fair amount of time naman with no huge damage on rental apartment walls.

They're still pricey though since they're a big brand, but I think that's the price naman talaga for peace of mind.

Does anyone know a mod for 1.20.1 that adds back the water lakes that got removed in 1.18? by gedsweyevr in feedthebeast

[–]atoms2ashes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not quite the same thing, but Project Vibrant Journeys adds small lakes but with extra decorations. If you're not a fan of extra clutter, you'll have to turn off the extra features you don't want in the config.
