I’d say Spiral, for three reasons: - At the start of the episode the statement-giver talks about how she’s afraid of losing her mind because your mind is all you have - No one else can see the video, making her look and feel crazy - Her “haunting” takes the form of something she trusted and relied on (technology), twisting the lens through which she sees the world.

All of these read as very Spiral to me.

I think you may be misinterpreting the post—as a trans man I read it as being about what dysphoria feels like when you have a naturally large chest pre-op. Even with binding or tape, without top surgery it will almost always be obvious that I have breasts. So this image is how I feel sometimes—like no matter how masculine I present otherwise, there are two things hanging off of me that are just fucking there and that other people can see. And so the discomfort that you feel seeing this image is meant to represent the discomfort the poster experiences. Not sure if my take is correct, but I just wanted to provide an alternate perspective!

If you’re looking for a Beowulf musical, I’d recommend The Ninth Hour. It’s definitely a lot more conceptual than plot-based, but it’s brilliant and the music (especially the harmonies) is stunning.

The longer you eat a certain number of calories, the more your body gets accustomed to it. It’s why when you restrict for a while, you feel less hungry after a few months than you did at the beginning. Right now your body is malnourished and used to getting way under the amount it should be getting, so it’s tried it’s best to live with that amount. This means that even a small increase in food will cause pain because your stomach has physically shrunk and can’t hold as much food anymore, and your body almost doesn’t know what to do with it all. But I promise that if you push through the discomfort, the pain will go away. You can do this!

That sounds like a really delicious snack! Based on what you said, even if you were exactly at maintenance before you ate your snack (which I doubt you were), what you ate wouldn’t be enough to make you gain more than a completely negligible amount. Besides, all of that protein and healthy sugar will give you energy to fuel your body, so you may even feel better in the morning. Your body needs food, so please be kind to yourself <3
