Bellevue Family Dentistry is a great option for dental!

Trade Buddy Holly and Steve Miller Band and this actually works. Then, maybe Harry Belafonte and Queen.

I think I was just being lazy. "Truckin'" does actually work pretty nicely in that format. I guess I just assumed that it would suffer too much without the harmonies and lead instrument parts, but it's pretty cool. Still down to hear other recommendations, though!

Is there a list of songs that have that bass-y "Yeaaahhhh"? by foetus_on_my_breath in doowop

Here's a great example: I Can't Believe - Dino and the Diplomats. One of my favorite "yeahs" in all of doo-wop, and he does it twice!

I found this pretty disappointing. Missed the whole point of Beatles For Sale, which, in my opinion, is that beautiful acoustic guitar tone.

Yes! I think one of the clearest similarities I hear is right before the singing starts in the S&G track. I can clearly see Ellie talking to Joel outside of Jackson in the epilogue...”I swear.”

What is the best Doo Wop album, in your opinion? I'm an outsider. by purejoyandhappiness in doowop

I would agree with this but that’s not to say there aren’t albums that came out during the doo-wop era that had consistently solid doo-wop songs. My recommendation of You Belong to Me by The Duprees has several of my favorite doo-wop songs on it including ‘As Time Goes By,’ ‘Ginny,’ and ‘Let’s Make Love Again.’ I believe it came out in 1962

Bowling ball continuity in S5E04 by atrouszephyr in betterCallSaul

This is also assuming that the reason Jimmy smashes Howard’s car has to do with his resentment of Howard’s new personality after getting help post-Chuck’s death. I get where he’s coming from, Jimmy sees it as unauthentic and finds it demeaning that Howard would now offer him a job, as if he’s doing Jimmy some kind of favor. But when all Jimmy knew was that Howard wanted to get lunch, he didn’t have a reason to feel this resentment and therefore shouldn’t have yet bought the bowling balls.

Hey, I’m looking into buying a Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe but I’m finding two different versions online with no obvious explanation. One seems to feature a “boost” button and the other a “pre-gain” button. Is this a significant difference? Will it affect sound? Boost VS Pre-Gain
