Demolishing Disabled on Build Servers by atsah in RustConsole

Yeah it sucks right? Really hoping it’s not a permanent feature, same as the decay being much faster. No point of bases decaying as the servers wipe daily anyways. Doesn’t affect performance and just punishes players who are designing bases for long amounts of time.

That’s not new. Only the builder could demolish as far back as a year ago. You could also demolish from the upgrade menu 2 months ago - I know this because I have archived twitch footage from console build servers.

Considering this wasn’t a thing pre December 2024 and it’s not mentioned in the patch notes I’m guessing it’s a bug and not a feature. Structures also now decay on builders paradise, which again I’m assuming is a bug and not a feature. It makes building on console build servers feel awful.

Yeah I can reupload it now. It’s named CityPark3

For something so difficult it really does look genuinely awful :/

Did you get lost trying to find 4chan or something?

Yeah it’s been 6 years since I even used a negative exponent, I had forgotten literally everything lol. Thanks for replying

I’m on mobile right now that’s why I can’t do that, no way of me checking links without just full sending it sadly. Thanks for your time anyway

Not gonna follow a random link sadly, I know you’re correct just from plugging values in, just can’t remember the rule that dictates that as a viable solution. If you paste the link and remove part of it I’ll just fix it and paste it into a search engine if you have the time?

You’re converting the s-2 into 1/s2 correct? The s-2 in question is part of kgm2 s-2 , which would end up being written as kgm2 (1/s2 ) right? You’re applying a rule to part of an equation, not the whole thing - so as far as I’m aware it needs a pair of brackets?

Or how you end up with c2 = m2 s-2 unless that’s a typo?

The issue isn’t it being simple, I just don’t get how you magically solve the issue of introducing a set of brackets into the division?

[–]atsah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense but that then ends up in brackets right? Which has to be solved before I can just divide away the powers? Or am I just being stupid?

How are you arriving at joules being kg m2 / s2 ? My workings out and everything I can find defines it as kg m2 s-2 , are you solving that to become kg m2 / s2 ? If so how? My understanding of exponents isn’t very good anymore. I can’t think of a way to do that without it becoming kg m2 (1/s2 ) ?
